Touring Morocco with Paxtours

ITINERARY 1

Day 1 - Casablanca

On arrival transfer to your hotel. Overnight Casablanca.

Day 2

Half-day city tour, including the harbour area. Afternoon free to explore the Medina at your leisure. Overnight Casablanca.

Day 3 - Rabat

Early morning departure by road to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, accommodation at the Tour Hassan Hotel (or similar). Day at leisure to explore Rabat. For golfing enthusiasts, there is an excellent golf course within easy access of your hotel. Overnight Rabat.

Day 4 –Fez

Depart Rabat for Fez via Meknes. On arrival accommodation at hotel “Les Merinides” located on a hill overlooking the old city of Fez. Remainder of afternoon free. Overnight Fez.

Day 5

Early morning departure for the Old Medina of Fez, surrounded by high walls and seven gates. Overnight Fez. See the old tannery dating back to ancient times. The Souk and Bazar will test your bargaining capabilities.

Day 6 – Marrakech

After breakfast, we start our long journey to Marrakech via Beni Millal, where we stop for lunch. This trip takes you via the Atlas mountains. Overnight Marrakech at hotel Les Almoravides.

Day 7

Morning sightseeing tour through the old Medina, The Souks, where entertainers vie, for the attention of passers-by. Jugglers, monkeys trainers, and fire-eaters, will hold the visitor spellbound with their antics. Tonight’s entertainment is a must at Ali’s Place. The FANTASIA consists of typical Moroccan dinner, a floorshow, and wandering artists representing tribes from all over Morocco. Overnight Marrakech.

Day 8

Early morning departure for Ouarzazate via the gorges of Todra. Overnight Ouarzazate.

Day 9

Full day tour to Zagora via the Dra Valley on the edge of the Sahara desert. Return to Zagora for overnight accommodation.

Day 10

Early morning departure for Casablanca by air.

ITINERARY 2

CASABLANA / AIRPORT SATURDAY (35 km)

Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V airport.
Welcome, assistance and transfer to the hotel in Casablanca.

Check-in, dinner and accommodation

CASABLANCA / RABAT - SUNDAY (110 km)

Breakfast and meeting with the tour guide from 9h30 am for the sightseeing of Casablanca, the business capital of Morocco, with an external visit of Hassan II great mosque before strolling along the Aïn Diab corniche. Seafood lunch and departure to Rabat. Visit of the administrative capital of Morocco, and the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum. Late in the afternoon, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

RABAT / MEKNES / FEZ - MONDAY (250 km)

After breakfast, departure to Fez with a stop at the Roman ruins and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I.

Lunch in Volubilis and carry on to Meknes or “the Moroccan Versailles” which was founded at the end of the 17^th century by Moulay Ismail. The sightseeing of this city will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina.

Arrival to Fez. Check-in at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight.

Show of “Massabih Fez” outside the hotel.

FEZ - TUESDAY

The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the oldest. Cultural and spiritual city of Morocco. The clients will see the craftsmen working in the old-age way with a possibility to buy one of these items. Moroccan lunch in a local restaurant and continuation of the city visit in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

FEZ / BENI-MELLAL / MARRAKESH - WEDNESDAY (500 km)

After breakfast, departure to Marrakesh passing by Immouzer El Kander, and Azrou, a berber village known for its handicraft corporation. Continuation through the wooded and mountainous region. Arrival to Beni-Mellal for lunch. Then continue to Marrakesh and upon arrival at the hotel. Check-in, dinner and overnight.

MARRAKESH - THURSDAY

The day will be devoted to visit Marrakech, the second city known as the “Pearl of the South” with the Saâdian tombs, the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace and the Menara Garden. Return for lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon, exploration of the souks and the Djemaâ El Fna place with its various entertainment. A Diffa Fantasia dinner will be provided under cäidal tents “Chez Ali” while watching folkloric troops from different Moroccan regions. Overnight at the hotel.

MARRAKESH / CASABLANCA - FRIDAY (250 km)

After breakfast, morning free at leisure for personal exploration or relaxation by the pool of the hotel.

Checkout by 11H45 am for lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant.

In the afternoon, departure to Casablanca via Settat.

Arrival at the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight.

CASABLANCA / AIRPORT - SATURDAY (35 km)

After breakfast, departure transfer to Mohamed V airport for return flight and assistance to the boarding formalities.
