Each boat is
fully equipped for your comfort and security : a spacious saloon, cabins to
give complete privacy, showers with hot and cold water, toilets, a well equipped
galley and generous windows to give an unimpeded view of the countryside. An
opening roof and, in some cases, a large sun deck will allow you to spend your
time in the sunshine.
Galley
Each galley has a generous work surface, a sink, a stove with oven and
grill, large cupboards and one or two refrigerators according to the size of
the boat. The kitchen equipment is complete: saucepans, cutlery, top class crockery,
wine glasses and, of course, a tea pot.
Bed Linen
The linen supplied covers all your needs, taking into account the number
of people on board: blankets or quilts, sheets, hand towels, dishcloths and
tablecloths.
Bathrooms
According to the boat size you will find one, two or even three bathrooms with
showers, toilets and in some cases even a bathtub. All the boats have large
water tanks with a generous supply of hot and cold water.
Cupboard Space
There are plenty of cupboards and wardrobes to store your belongings. Our
latest boats are equipped with a safe for your valuables.
Heating
If you are cruising in early or late season you will be pleased to know
that each boat is equipped with heating adapted to its cruising region.
Electrical Equipment
Your boat is equipped with a 12 volt electrical circuit and a 12 volt socket
is available for recharging portable telephones, video cameras etc. A 220 volt
socket is also available but for razors only. There is also a radio cassette
player and a 12 volt hair dryer.
Security
Equipment All the required safety equipment is aboard : First Aid kit,
fire blanket, fire extinguishers. We also have plenty of small life jackets
for children. Ask for them at your departure base.
Before your departure each
boat is cleaned and reviewed. All the mechanical equipment is checked and the
tanks are refilled. You will have enough fuel for at least two weeks' cruising.
Drinking water should last at least two days but you can fill up regularly at
the water points shown on your canal guide.
